Join educational leaders and reading experts from across the country as we dive into the Science of Reading and its practical applications for school leadership. Learn how to champion oral language development and evidence-based literacy practices that make a difference—especially for your youngest and most vulnerable learners.

Ohio’s early childhood and pre-kindergarten leaders—including special education personnel and principals responsible for early childhood and PK–grade 3 programs—will leave prepared to lead literacy improvement efforts grounded in the Science of Reading and aligned to Ohio’s Plan to Raise Literacy Achievement. This initiative places a special focus on improving literacy outcomes for children with disabilities and learning difficulties by strengthening the leadership capacity of special educators and school personnel working in the birth through grade 3 continuum.
