Assistant Coordinator of Transportation

Hilliard City School District is a high performing district located in a northwest Columbus suburb 

and is the eighth largest school district in the State of Ohio. The district serves approximately 

16,500 students in grades K-12.

The District is seeking qualified candidates with strong leadership, managerial, communication 

and organizational skills for the position of Assistant Coordinator of Transportation.

The individual will assist in the directing, supervision and management of the entire 

transportation department and its personnel, assuring safe and efficient transportation for 

eligible students.

Preferred qualifications:

• High school diploma

• Valid CDL license

• Must qualify for coverage under the district’s auto insurance policy

• Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Superintendent and/or Board of 

Education may find appropriate

The successful candidate will be offered a multi-year contract at 255 days per year. The 

candidate will report to the Coordinator of Transportation for Hilliard City Schools and 

preferably be open to a start date of December 1, 2026. Compensation for the position will be 

competitive and dependent upon training and experience. The position will include attractive
